Welcome to the CIETE 2015 Conference website!
We would like to invite you to the Creating Inclusive Excellence in Teacher Education (CIETE) mini conference Saturday, February 7, 2015. The CIETE conference is open to undergraduate and graduate students, faculty, K-12 teachers, administrators and concerned community members. It is our goal to learn and share strategies with our workshop facilitators. The workshop facilitators are undergraduate students and graduate students and faculty from Michigan State University with invested interests in teacher education. Each facilitator will share some of their most valuable teaching practices and insights in his or her work with diverse student populations. As a participant in these interactive workshops, you will engage in the activities/strategies prepared by the workshop facilitators. Plus, you will walk away with invaluable resources that you can use in your own teaching. Each workshop is also designed so that you have opportunities to share your expertise and engage in discussions about teaching strategies that meet the needs of all students.
Thank you,
Sakeena Everett & Theda Gibbs (Conference Organizers)
